Formally from the duo KARCASS; Kara Logan began to focus on sculptural wood carvings when she took over in 2018. Having always been inspired by the individual nature of each piece of wood in their furniture making practice, Kara took [the offcuts of her furniture as] inspiration to launch her own collection of sculptural wall hangings under karalogan.studio in 2022. 

Based in Toronto, Canada, Kara splits her time between her Kawartha Lakes cabin and her stockyards district studio, where she develops her sculptural wood art practice.

Every piece that leaves the studio is uniquely carved and hand shaped before being finished with a natural fiber.
